Jeffrey Drost is a Professor at the School of Business, Maranatha. Prior to joining in 2008, he served in the US Navy Reserve as a Mess-Management Specialist First Class and held roles in management, compliance, and finance, including Manager at Cousins Submarines, Inc., Branch Manager at Associated Bank, Compliance Officer at First Bank Financial Centre, and Fraud Investigator at MGIC. He holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership (Regent University), a BM from the Graduate School of Banking (University of Madison), and an MS and BS in Business Management (Cardinal Stritch University).
His research interests focus on organizational leadership and the application of chaos and emergence theories to organizational science. He actively participates in campus life as the Organizational Leadership Program Director and Small Group Leader, and contributes to professional organizations like the Academy of Management.
Outside academia, Jeff serves on his church’s Security team, assists in the nursery, and hosts college students. His personal interests include studying organizational chaos theories and supporting the Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers.
