Jeff Penny is a Professor at Berklee College of Music, teaching in the Music Production and Engineering Department and the Synthesis program. He specializes in digital audio production, game audio, and electronic composition. Holding a M.A. in Composition from UC Davis and a D.M.A. from Boston University, his work spans film/TV scoring, audio engineering for orchestras, and advanced mixing techniques. He has created music for ESPN, Avid, and major artists like the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Proficient in technologies like Sonic Solutions and Pro Tools, he also operates Coral Sea Music studio. Courses taught include Advanced Mixing, Creative DSP, and Game Audio Production with Wwise. Publications include articles in Berklee Today and Electronic Musician magazine.
