Jeff M. Bauman is a Professor of Music and Chair of the Department of Music at Young Harris College, where he serves as Director of Choral and Vocal Activities. He joined the faculty in 1992 and directs the Concert Choir, Chamber Choir, teaches applied voice and conducting. His choirs have performed at ACDA and GMEA conventions, toured internationally, and he is a life member of the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA).

Research Focus: Specializes in choral/vocal pedagogy, conducting techniques, and musical theatre. His work includes training competition-winning vocalists and adjudicating performance evaluations across Georgia.
Leadership: Served as chair of NAfME's national choral advisory council. Maintains a 24-year role as Music Director at First United Methodist Church of Union County alongside academic duties.
