Jeff Campbell is a Professor of Jazz Studies & Contemporary Media at the Eastman School of Music, University of Rochester. Since 1997, he has taught jazz bass, jazz history, jazz theory, and small group performance. Campbell balances a global performance career with academic leadership, serving as Chair of the Jazz Studies & Contemporary Media Department and co-directing the Eastman Summer Jazz Studies and Bass Day program.
