Frank Bruce is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Music at the University of Rochester's The College, and an Instructor of Music Theory at the Eastman School of Music (part-time). He holds a BM from Oberlin College, MM and DMA from the Eastman School of Music, and an MA in Music Theory Pedagogy. His teaching spans institutions including SUNY Geneseo, New Orleans Center for the Creative Arts, and Loyola University. He has received prestigious awards for teaching excellence, including the Edward Peck Curtis Award and the Eastman Teaching Assistant Prize. Beyond academia, Bruce is an accomplished organist, with performances with the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra, Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, and as organist at First Presbyterian Church of Pittsford.
