Jeannie Bopp

Jeannie Bopp serves as an Assistant Professor in Dental Hygiene at Oregon Institute of Technology (Klamath Falls), teaching since 2015.

Her expertise centers on preventive dentistry and medical emergency management in dental settings, with significant focus on international service learning. As director of the International Externship Program (IEP), she leads student teams providing dental care to underserved global communities, integrating cultural competence and compassion into dental hygiene education through hands-on outreach.

In her senior instructional role, she mentors students in clinical practice and oversees the IEP's operations. This service-learning initiative involves strategic partnerships for community dental health delivery and represents her commitment to experiential education.

Professor Bopp actively collaborates with international partners through the IEP framework and forms a core component of the Dental Hygiene program's instructional team.
