Dr. Jeannette Loutsch is an Associate Professor of Biology at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma (USAO), where she has served since 2007. She teaches courses in Virology, Microbiology, Cell and Molecular Biology, Genetics, Immunology, and Botany. Her research interests include viral pathology, molecular biology, and drug delivery systems, with notable publications on topics such as murine cytomegalovirus protease and ophthalmic antiviral therapies.

Loutsch is actively involved in academic and community initiatives, including advising Colleges Against Cancer, speaking at the Festival of Arts and Ideas, and participating in the V-Day College Campaign. She co-organizes the Women in Technology & Science (WITS) program, a STEM-focused workshop for 5th and 6th-grade girls.
Her teaching spans both undergraduate coursework and laboratory instruction, emphasizing hands-on learning in biological sciences.
