Jeanne Ciravolo

Jeanne Ciravolo is an Assistant Professor in Residence and Director of the Alexey von Schlippe Gallery at the University of Connecticut's School of Fine Arts. Her mixed-media practice explores family narratives through figurative paintings and textiles. She has exhibited nationally at institutions including The Butler Institute of American Art, Yellowstone Art Museum, and Coral Springs Museum.

Her research examines the intersection of personal narrative and materiality in contemporary visual culture, with emphasis on textile-based storytelling techniques and feminist art methodologies.
