Jeanine Guidry-Drost

Jeanine Guidry-Drost is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication and Cognition at Tilburg University, affiliated with the Tilburg School of Humanities and Digital Sciences. Her research focuses on health communication, vaccine hesitancy, chronic disease management, and health-related online misinformation. She has collaborated with organizations such as the CDC, NIH, and academic institutions in multiple countries.

Her work examines vaccine misinformation on social media platforms like Instagram and Pinterest, with notable contributions influencing Pinterest's policy changes in 2019. She also studies health behavior interventions for chronic diseases such as Long COVID and cancer, and the societal impact of health-related misinformation.

Guidry-Drost collaborates with over 20 researchers across disciplines and participates in think tanks addressing vaccine hesitancy. She teaches courses including Health Communication and Communication Theory, and actively engages in public health outreach through media appearances and webinars.
