Jean Tirole is a renowned economist and Honorary President of the Toulouse School of Economics (TSE) and Institute for Advanced Study in Toulouse (IAST). He holds a visiting professorship at MIT and is a member of the Institut de France. His research focuses on industrial organization, regulation, game theory, finance, and macroeconomics. Tirole has authored over 200 articles and 12 books, including the influential Economics for the Common Good.
