Jean Robison is a Lecturer at the University of Southern California's Roski School of Art and Design. An interdisciplinary multimedia artist, she works primarily in digital media, the internet, and social practice. Her practice explores play, praxis, and activism through projects that demystify cultural production and engage viewers in participatory models. She presents her work internationally and maintains a dedicated educational practice where art and teaching methodologies intersect.

- Pasadena ArtNight Minigrant (2013)
- Facebook Artist Residency at Chloë Flores (2012)

Her educational philosophy integrates studio practice with critical theory, exemplified by her co-founding of Obracadobra International Artist Residency, which provides immersive creative development opportunities. She has coordinated institutional projects like the Port of Long Beach photo archive installation.
Robison co-founded Obracadobra International Artist Residency in Oaxaca, Mexico (2011-present) within Casa Colonial, offering studio facilities, accommodations, and cultural exchange. The residency hosts up to twelve artists annually across disciplines including new media, printmaking, and writing, and serves as base for Ambulante Film Festival. As a core member of Finishing School collective (since 2013), she develops socially engaged projects exploring technology's role in community building, with recent exhibitions at Human Resources LA and Bienal de Cuenca.
