Dr. Jean C. O'Connor is a part-time Associate Professor in the Department of Health Policy and Management at the University of Georgia's College of Public Health. She concurrently serves as Director of the Health Sector at Econometrica, Inc., and holds an adjunct professorship at Emory University's Rollins School of Public Health. Her expertise spans healthcare policy, accessibility, chronic disease prevention, and global health governance.
Education: DrPH from UNC Chapel Hill (2009), JD and MPH from Emory University (2001).
Research Interests: Dr. O'Connor focuses on interdisciplinary approaches to healthcare system challenges, including pandemic response strategies, substance use policy development, and equitable healthcare access. She bridges law and public health through her work on regulatory frameworks and global health partnerships.
