Dr. Zhuo Adam Chen is a Professor and DrPH Program Coordinator at the Department of Health Policy and Management, University of Georgia (UGA). He also serves as Visiting Chair Professor of Health Economics and Director (0.2FTE) at the Centre for Health Economics, School of Economics, University of Nottingham Ningbo China. His research focuses on health economics, social determinants of health, global health systems, and genomics. He leads the Interdisciplinary Approaches to Social Determinants of Health Pre-Seed Team at UGA.
Dr. Chen holds a Ph.D. in Economics and M.S. in Statistics from Iowa State University. Prior to UGA, he worked as a senior health economist at the US CDC (2014–2016), where he received the CDC Excellence in Social and Behavioral Science Research Award (2013). He has authored over 140 peer-reviewed publications in journals like *Lancet* and *Journal of Health Economics*.
