Dr. Jayne Price is a Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader for Criminology at the University of Chester's Department of Social and Political Sciences. She oversees curriculum development, student experience enhancement, and stakeholder engagement while pursuing an MA in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education. Her research examines youth justice transitions, participatory methods with marginalized populations, and criminal conviction barriers in higher education.
Her publications demonstrate consistent focus on youth justice reforms, prison system experiences, and academic-practitioner knowledge exchange. Recent works explore peer mentoring efficacy, geriatric incarceration challenges, and creative participatory methodologies with vulnerable youth.
