Jayna L. Ditty is a Professor and Associate Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of St. Thomas. She holds a PhD in Biochemistry and Biology Education from the University of Iowa. Her research focuses on microbiology, including bacterial chemotaxis toward hydrocarbons, circadian rhythms in cyanobacteria, efficacy of antimicrobial compounds, and integrating bioinformatics into undergraduate curricula. She has contributed to peer-reviewed publications on microbial protocols and undergraduate research pathways.
