Jaya Krishnakumar is an Honorary Professor at the University of Geneva’s Institute of Economics and Econometrics. Her expertise spans panel data econometrics, time series models, and applications of econometric methods to human development, poverty, and inequality analysis. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Geneva and has held full professorship roles there. Her work bridges theoretical econometrics with policy-relevant applications, particularly in operationalizing Amartya Sen’s capability approach through structural equation models.
