Jay Jackson

Jay Jackson serves as the Assistant Dean of Student Affairs and Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Palm Beach Atlantic University's Lloyd L. Gregory School of Pharmacy (GSOP).

Dr. Jackson's educational background includes:

• Undergraduate studies at Palm Beach Atlantic University
• Pharm.D. training at Palm Beach Atlantic University
• PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at West Palm Beach Veterans Affairs Medical Center

Dr. Jackson joined the Gregory School of Pharmacy's clinical faculty in 2013, teaching pharmacotherapy courses with a focus on cardiovascular pharmacotherapy, nutrition support, and pharmacogenomics. He maintains an internal medicine practice site at a local community hospital. Beyond his academic responsibilities, Dr. Jackson has a passion for medical missions, having led several trips locally and to the Dominican Republic and Costa Rica.

In 2018, Dr. Jackson was appointed as GSOP's assistant dean for student affairs, where he oversees student organizations, community service, spiritual development, faculty advising, peer tutoring, professional ceremonies, new student orientation, and professional development of pharmacy students.
