Jessica Bates

Jessica Bates is a Clinical Associate Professor and Assistant Director of Experiential Education at the University of Kansas School of Pharmacy (Lawrence campus). She specializes in pharmacotherapy and experiential education, advising students and preceptors in pharmacy practice experiences. Her roles include teaching pharmacotherapy, coordinating drug information courses, and assessing student performance in journal club milestones.

Education: PGY1 Residency in Community Pharmacy (UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy) and Pharm.D. from the University of Kansas. Her research focuses on pharmacy education innovation, pharmacogenomics curriculum design, and community pharmacy's role in career development.
