Dr. Jaume Terradas Calafell is a Tenured Contract Senior Lecturer in the Department of Physics, Astronomy and Astrophysics at the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB). He maintains an active research and teaching profile with office locations in both the Complex Balear de Recerca i Desenvolupament Tecnològic (room 110) and Mateu Orfila i Rotger Physics building (room F002).
His research specialization focuses on:
- Solar Magnetohydrodynamics (MHD)
- Waves in the Solar Corona
- Numerical Simulations in Astrophysical Plasmas
- Optical astronomy
As a member of the Solar Physics (SolPhys) Consolidated R+D+I Group, Dr. Terradas Calafell contributes to ongoing research in solar system studies.
