Jaume Terradas Calafell

Jaume Terradas Calafell is a Professor at the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB), affiliated with the Faculty of Science and Department of Physics. His research focuses on solar physics and astrophysics, particularly the study of magnetohydrodynamic waves in the solar corona and coronal seismology.

Dr. Terradas teaches across multiple academic programs at UIB. He instructs undergraduate courses in Physics and Mathematics, as well as specialized courses in the Master's program in Advanced Physics and Applied Mathematics. His teaching portfolio demonstrates expertise in astrophysics, general physics, mathematical modeling, and computational magnetohydrodynamics.

He is an active member of the "Física Solar (SolPhys)" research group, a consolidated R&D&I structure at UIB focused on solar physics research.
