Jasper Hagedorn is a researcher and doctoral student at the University of Bremen, Department of Early Modern History, focusing on the Atlantic slave economy and its historical connections to Bremen's trade networks. He works on the ERC Consolidator Grant-funded project "The Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation and its Slaves" and has contributed to exhibitions at the Focke-Museum Bremen.

He has collaborated with institutions such as the Focke-Museum Bremen and participated in international research projects related to colonial history and economic networks.
