Jason Weems

Jason Weems is Associate Professor and Graduate Advisor at UC Riverside's Department of Art History. His research examines intersections of American art, visual/material culture, and technology, with particular focus on vision epistemology. He holds a PhD from Stanford University and teaches courses on US art and visual culture. His scholarly approach integrates critical theory with historical analysis of overlooked visual artifacts.
