معرفی
Dr. Jason Tallis is an Associate Professor at Coventry University's Centre for Physical Activity, Sport and Exercise Sciences. His research focuses on skeletal muscle mechanics, aging-related muscle performance changes, ergogenic aids, and temperature effects on muscle function. He holds a PhD from Coventry University (2013) and collaborates internationally with institutions in Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, France, UK, and USA.
His research employs the work loop technique to study dynamic muscle performance, emphasizing translational applications for human aging and exercise interventions. Key projects include investigating high-fat diet impacts on muscle mechanics, resveratrol supplementation benefits, and the role of physical activity in mitigating age-related muscle decline. Funded by TANITA, current work examines intramuscular fat accumulation and muscle aging. He also explores athlete monitoring perceptions and injury prevention strategies in professional sports.
- Education: PhD in Exercise Physiology (Coventry University, 2013)
- Grants: TANITA-funded projects on muscle aging mechanisms
His collaborative projects include studies on lumbar spine mechanics in aging populations, community sport injury prevention programs, and caffeine's ergogenic effects. Dr. Tallis contributes to UN SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being) through research promoting active aging and injury mitigation in sports.
