Neil A. Schwarz

Neil A. Schwarz is an Associate Professor and Department Chair in the Department of Health, Kinesiology, and Sport at the University of South Alabama's College of Education & Professional Studies. He holds a Ph.D. in Exercise, Nutrition, and Preventive Health from Baylor University (2014), following M.S. (2009) and B.S. (2007) degrees in Exercise Science and Nutritional Sciences. His research focuses on exercise and nutrition's effects on skeletal muscle biology, sports performance optimization, and weight management strategies. He serves as a reviewer for the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research and Journal of the International Society of Sports Nutrition.
