Jason Scott is an Associate Professor in Health and Social Care at Northumbria University, holding roles as Deputy Director of the IDEAS National Evaluation Team and Academic Lead of the Frequent Caller National Network. He specializes in applied health and social care research, focusing on healthcare innovation, patient safety, and emergency care delivery. His leadership includes Programme Lead for the MSc Healthcare Leadership and Management and Department Postgraduate Research Co-Lead.
Research Interests: Dr. Scott’s work spans the design and evaluation of healthcare innovations, with expertise in mixed methods (qualitative, quantitative, and mixed approaches). Key areas include Mobile Stroke Units, social prescribing, and patient safety incident reporting frameworks.
