Jason P. Longtin is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Music Education at the University of Florida's School of Music, teaching in the online Master of Music in Music Education program. Concurrently, he serves as Associate Professor of Music at the College of Central Florida (Ocala), where he conducts the Patriot Singers and Vocal Jazz Ensemble, teaches music theory, and directs musical theatre productions.
He holds a PhD in Music Education, Master of Music in Music Education from the University of Florida, and Bachelor of Music Education from Stetson University.
His professional background includes teaching at Lyman High School, Crystal River High School, and Florida Virtual School. Dr. Longtin is active as a clinician and adjudicator, presenting at the International Symposium on Assessment in Music Education and Florida Music Education conferences. He has served on the State Board of the Florida Vocal Association and is currently Choral Music Coordinator for the Florida College System Activities Association.
