Jason Missal is an Assistant Professor of Music and the Director of Bands at the University of Utah. His responsibilities include conducting the Wind Ensemble, leading the graduate wind conducting program, and overseeing the band program. He has previously held roles as the Associate Director of Bands at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and as a faculty member at Abilene Christian University, where he conducted ensembles and taught music education and applied horn.
