Jason Lines is an Associate Professor in Computing Sciences at the University of East Anglia (UEA), affiliated with the School of Computing Sciences and the Data Science and AI group. He holds a BSc (First Class Honours, 2010) and PhD (2014) from UEA, focusing on time series classification. His research emphasizes machine learning, particularly real-time and on-chip time series classification, and he co-leads the EPSRC-funded COTE project. He teaches Programming 1, Data Structures and Algorithms, and Machine Learning.
