Professor Ashiq Anjum is a Professor of Distributed Systems at the University of Leicester and Director of Enterprise and Impact for the School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences. Previously, he led the Data Science Research Centre. His research focuses on data-intensive distributed systems, AI-driven digital twins for cyber-physical systems, and physics-informed machine learning models. He leads the £60M METEOR project at Space Park Leicester and collaborates with CERN on LHC data analytics.
