Dr. Jason Lennard is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Economic History at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). He holds additional affiliations with the Centre for Economic Policy Research (Research Affiliate), the Centre for Macroeconomics (Member), and the Economic Statistics Centre of Excellence (Research Associate). His research focuses on the macroeconomic history of the United Kingdom since the Industrial Revolution, with a particular emphasis on business cycles, financial crises, and monetary policy. Prior to joining LSE, he served as a Senior Economist at the National Institute of Economic and Social Research (NIESR).
Dr. Lennard’s work has been published in leading journals such as the Economic History Review, European Review of Economic History, and Journal of Economic History.
