His educational background includes a DPhil from Sussex and MA/BA from Warwick, reflecting interdisciplinary training. Research centers on otherness across humanities and social sciences, examining transgressive culture, addiction, and screenwriting psychology through frameworks like Levinasian ethics and psychoanalysis.
Lee's recent publications reveal evolving focus from historical analysis (e.g., Galileo studies) toward contemporary extremism and desire theory, with increasing emphasis on digital media's role in shaping cultural pathology.
