Jason Kofke is a Professor of Printmaking at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in Atlanta, a position he has held since 2016. He also serves as a Teaching Foundations professor at SCAD Atlanta. His career includes adjunct roles at Flagler College (2011), visiting artist positions at institutions like the China Academy of Art (2009-2010), and guest professorships at Santa Fe College (2014). Kofke holds an M.F.A. and B.F.A. in painting from SCAD.
His research and creative work focus on printmaking, contemporary art, and exhibition curation, with a particular emphasis on public engagement and cross-cultural dialogue. Notable exhibitions include The World Book (1979) (2014), Everything Will Be OK (2012), and As Simply as Possible (2010), showcasing his exploration of themes like historical references, emotional expression, and conceptual failure.
