Jason Jakubowski is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Connecticut School of Public Policy and Central Connecticut State University’s Department of Political Science. He currently serves as President & CEO of Connecticut Foodshare, a Feeding America food bank distributing over 40 million meals annually. His leadership has earned Connecticut Foodshare multiple 'Top Workplace' recognitions and a C-Suite Award during the 2020 pandemic response.
Education: B.A. in Political Science and M.P.A. from University of Connecticut; Harvard Business School’s Nonprofit Management program.
Prior roles include Vice President of External Relations at Hospital for Special Care and Director of Corporate & Community Development at Charter Oak State College. He has held civic roles such as New Britain City Council member, City Treasurer, and Connecticut Presidential Elector (2012). He chairs Feeding America’s Policy Engagement and Advocacy Committee and serves on boards including Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce and United Way of Connecticut.
Awards include the Distinguished Leadership Award (2019) and Polaris Award (2021). He has contributed to state governance via transition teams for Governors Ned Lamont (2018) and Dannel P. Malloy (2010).
