Jason Dauenhauer is a Professor of Social Work and Director of Multigenerational Engagement at SUNY Brockport. He joined the faculty in 2004 and holds a BS from SUNY Brockport, MSW/Specialist in Aging from University of Michigan, and a doctoral degree in Human Development from University of Rochester.
His research focuses on elder mistreatment prevention, multigenerational engagement strategies in higher education, and program evaluation methodologies. He leads the College's initiative fostering intergenerational learning between older adults and students.
Teaching responsibilities include Research Methods, Human Behavior and the Social Environment II, Issues of Aging in America, Social Policy, and Field Instruction coordination. He also directs the Aging Studies minor program.
