Jason Boland is a Professor and Honorary Consultant in Palliative Medicine at the Hull York Medical School and the University of Hull. He holds academic appointments within the Faculty of Health Sciences and is affiliated with the Wolfson Palliative Care Research Group. His expertise spans opioid pharmacology, palliative care delivery, and clinical research in oncology. He completed his medical degree at the University of Cambridge (MA in Neuroscience) and a PhD from the University of Sheffield on opioid-immune interactions.
