Jasmin Thomas is an Associate Professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University's School of Health Professions. With extensive experience serving children in diverse settings including hospital-based preschool programs, homecare early intervention, and both private and public facilities for students with special needs, Dr. Thomas specializes in the holistic intersection of physical, cognitive, and emotional health and mental well-being.
Dr. Thomas holds a Doctor of Occupational Therapy from the University of South Dakota, School of Health Sciences, a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Utica College, School of Health Professions and Education, and a Bachelor of Science from Boston University, Sargent College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. She is Board Certified in Pediatrics (BCP) by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
