Jasmin Langdon-Daly is a Senior Lecturer (Clinical Associate Lead) in the Department of Psychology at the University of Bath, where she serves as Director of Studies for the MSc Clinical Associate Psychology (degree apprenticeship) program. She is an HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience in clinical settings, specializing in work with children, young people, families, and those experiencing eating disorders. Her research focuses on eating disorders, therapist behaviors, prevention interventions, healthy eating policies, and family relationships.
Education:
- DClinPsy in Clinical Psychology from University College London (2013-2016)
- BSc in Experimental Psychology from the University of Bristol (2008-2011)
Research interests include exploring the impact of public health policies on eating behaviors, social safeness's role in eating disorders, and strategies to prevent severe eating disorder hospitalizations. Her work contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to mental health and education.
Recent publications examine topics such as calorie labeling policies, social support in eating disorders, and compliance with intermittent fasting diets. Collaborations focus on understanding familial and social dynamics in mental health contexts.
