Jarrod Marto

Jarrod Marto, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Biological Chemistry and Molecular Pharmacology at Harvard Medical School and a researcher at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. He holds a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from The Ohio State University and completed postdoctoral work at the University of Virginia. His research focuses on proteomics-based techniques to study protein expression, signaling pathways, and their roles in cancer initiation and progression. He previously served as a Senior Research Scientist and Director of Analytical Proteomics at MDS Proteomics.

Dr. Marto’s lab develops advanced chromatographic platforms and open-source computational tools to enhance proteomic analysis. Research interests include genomic alterations, post-translational modifications, and the impact of small molecule probes on cellular mechanisms. His work bridges molecular-level investigations with disease phenotypes, contributing to both fundamental biology and translational cancer research.
