Jared W. Keeley is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at Virginia Commonwealth University's College of Humanities and Sciences. He serves as the Director of the Clinical Psychology Program and has contributed extensively to the International Classification of Diseases (ICD-11) field trials. His work spans diagnostic classification systems and the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL).
- Education: B.A. in Psychology and Classics (2002), M.S. (2005) and Ph.D. (2009) in Clinical Psychology, both from Auburn University.
Dr. Keeley's research on psychopathology classification explores clinicians' cognitive processes in diagnosis and case conceptualization. In SoTL, he investigates attributes of effective teachers, including cross-cultural comparisons and the development of the Teacher Behavior Checklist. Recent publications focus on ICD-11 implementation, diagnostic accuracy, and teaching evaluation tools.
