Martin Sellbom is a Professor at Monash University's School of Psychological Sciences, specializing in personality disorders, psychopathy, and clinical assessment. He holds editorial roles for the Journal of Personality Assessment and has served at institutions like the University of Otago and Australian National University. He earned his PhD in Clinical Psychology from Kent State University (2007).
His research focuses on psychopathology classification, particularly using dimensional personality traits and modern diagnostic frameworks (DSM-5, ICD-11). He leads studies on the MMPI-3 instrument, assessing validity and application in forensic and clinical settings.
