Dr. Vanasse's research focuses on applying effective field theories to few-body systems, particularly to study atomic nucleus properties and probe violations of fundamental symmetries in particle physics. These studies aim to uncover new physics beyond the Standard Model and improve understanding of neutron-proton interactions.
He teaches courses such as General Physics I (PHYS 2300) and General Physics II (PHYS 2400), with office hours listed for Fall 2025. His work intersects theoretical physics, nuclear structure, and experimental methods for detecting symmetry violations.
