Jared Males is an Associate Astronomer at Steward Observatory, University of Arizona, with expertise in exoplanet research and direct imaging techniques. He develops advanced adaptive optics and coronagraphic systems to study exoplanet atmospheres, notably leading the NSF-funded MagAO-X project for the Magellan Clay telescope. His work bridges ground- and space-based observational methods.
