Professor Stopyra specializes in German-Scandinavian comparative linguistics with emphasis on structural analysis of nominal morphology. His research integrates historical linguistics with synchronic analysis of German and Danish word formation systems, particularly examining derivational processes and orthographic standardization. This work bridges theoretical linguistics with practical language pedagogy.
He actively participates in academic discourse through events like the 'Henryk Bereska – a Man in Dazwischen' conference (October 15, 2025) and 'MAGNUM IN PARVO' aphorism studies conference (October 24-25, 2025), both organized by the University of Wrocław's Institute of German Studies.
