Janna Murphy

Janna Murphy is a Lecturer and Course Instructor at Cambridge College, with a 20-year career in education focused on literacy. She holds an MEd in Elementary Education from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and an MEd in Reading from Bank Street College of Education.

Her professional journey includes roles as a second-grade teacher in NYC Public Schools, a reading specialist on the South Shore, and currently as a literacy coach supporting teachers in implementing best practices. She emphasizes equitable access to quality literacy instruction for all children, particularly at-risk readers.
