Dr. Wendy Ellis is an Associate Professor and Director of the Reading Program at the Cannon-Clary College of Education, Harding University. She specializes in literacy education, with over 17 years of teaching experience in undergraduate and graduate courses covering writing, literacy theories, and intervention strategies. Her roles include literacy consultant for schools in Arkansas and Tennessee, and prior experience as a literacy specialist at the Arkansas Department of Education.

Research Interests: Focuses on foundational literacy skills including phonics, fluency, and phonemic awareness, alongside intervention strategies for students with learning differences.
