Todd Patten is an Associate Dean, Chair of the Department of Mental Health & Wellness, and Professor in the Cannon-Clary College of Education at Harding University. He holds an Ed.D. in Counseling, an MS in Clinical Psychology, and a BA in Biology. With 30 years in counseling and education, his expertise spans trauma therapy, adult mental health (depression/anxiety), and missionary/counselor care.

His research focuses on religious minorities in religiously affiliated universities and student retention strategies. He has published one peer-reviewed article in Christian Higher Education (2008). Awards include the Harding University Teacher Achievement Award (2017) and the R. Blair Olson Distinguished Professional Service Award (2015).
He maintains a private practice supporting global communities and enjoys international travel, Arkansas' forests and rivers, and family time with his wife and three children.
