Janis Morgan is an Adjunct Professor in the Master of Science in Education Program at Northwestern University's School of Education and Social Policy (SESP). She concurrently serves as Associate Superintendent for Student Services at Township High School District 214, overseeing special education, alternative programs, budget management, teacher recruitment, and district leadership. Her professional background includes roles as Associate Superintendent of Special Education and Director of Special Services in Wauconda CUSD #118, along with experience as a special education teacher and school psychologist.
Dr. Morgan holds an EdD in Educational Administration, MS degrees in Educational Psychology and Educational Administration (both from Northern Illinois University), and a BS in Exceptional Education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her research interests focus on social-emotional learning strategies for diverse learners and evidence-based instructional practices in inclusive education settings.
