Ann Bisignani serves as Graduate Program Coordinator and adjunct faculty in the Department of Education and Liberal Studies at Carlow University's College of Education & Social Work. She advises students across MEd, EdD, and Graduate Certificate programs from initial inquiry through graduation, directs the Principal’s Program, and collaborates with regional school districts to secure internships and job placements.
Her educational background includes:
- BS in Education/Business Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania
- MPM in Public Management with Educational Leadership Concentration from Carnegie Mellon University
With extensive K-12 experience as a teacher, high school principal, and Assistant Superintendent, her research focuses on educational leadership and teacher preparation. She emphasizes practical application through district partnerships, curriculum design, and development of future educators and administrators.
Ann serves on the Doctoral Planning Committee that established Carlow's EdD program and remains active in the School District-University Collaborative with Pittsburgh Public Schools and the Pennsylvania Association of Colleges and Teacher Educators.
