Professor Janis Baird is a Professor of Public Health & Epidemiology at the University of Southampton, where she leads significant research projects through the NIHR Southampton Biomedical Research Centre. She serves as the lead supervisor for PhD research on adolescent food choices in school environments (2022-2026) and collaborates extensively with the MRC Lifecourse Epidemiology Centre.
Her research focuses on understanding dietary behaviors and developing interventions to improve public health outcomes. Key areas include:
