Janine Maddock

Janine Maddock is a Professor Emerita in the Department of Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology at the University of Michigan. She retired on December 31, 2020. Her research focused on microbial development, proteomics, and molecular genetics, with specific interests in ribosome assembly mechanisms and bacterial asymmetry. Maddock earned her Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon University and completed postdoctoral fellowships at Stanford University as an NIH and American Cancer Society Fellow.
